Our name is B.A.N.K.S.: An acronym for Brilliant Advertising & Key Services.
Brilliant being the operative word
bri.lliant (bril. -y æ nt) [adj.] 1. Sparkling; to sparkle; shining brightly 2. A strong light, radiating in all directions 3. Vivid; intense 4. Very splendid or distinguished 5. Having or showing keen intelligence, great talent or skill, etc.
Essentially, we are a Creative Consultancy, riding on the coat tails of our Chief Creative ConsultantJimi Bankole.
Acknowledged as an exceptional copywriter and an excellent creative, he has been the pioneering creative director of a Saatchi agency, known as M. C. & A. (Marketing Communications and Advertising), which was a second-line agency to the Grey affiliate known as Insight.
It was at Insight that he further earned his stripes under the tutelage of Advertising czar, Biodun “Bibi” Shobanjo, and “big brother”, ‘Jimi Awosika. He served as the deputy creative director (copy) before being “drafted” to start the creative department with Saatchi (M. C. & A). He later immigrated to the USA, and has since worked with Lowe’s (the international retail chain), and other advertising outfits.
He now runs this lean but impacting creative consultancy known as B.A.N.K.S.
